Karaoke inside a real home studio
A home studio karaoke setup needs more than a basic media player. Musicians and creators often need audio playback, synchronized CDG lyrics, a dedicated lyrics screen and a workflow that fits beside the rest of their recording equipment.
KRXTOS CDG Studio is designed around that workflow. The standalone Windows application can be used when you simply want to rehearse or perform, while the VST3 version integrates the karaoke source directly into a Cubase session.
Standalone or VST3?
Use the standalone application when the objective is fast karaoke playback without opening a DAW. The library scans folders recursively, pairs MP3 and CDG files and provides normal transport controls.
Use the VST3 instrument when karaoke is part of a larger production session. KRXTOS can synchronize playback with the host while the lyrics remain available on a separate display.
A practical studio configuration
A typical KRXTOS home studio can use the main computer display for Cubase or KRXTOS controls and a second monitor or television for fullscreen lyrics. Audio continues through the normal studio interface and monitoring chain.
That separation keeps the production screen useful for the musician while singers or guests see only the karaoke lyrics.
