Why use karaoke as a VST3 instrument?
Traditional karaoke players live outside the DAW. That works for casual playback, but it becomes awkward when karaoke is part of a recording, rehearsal or live-production workflow.
KRXTOS CDG Studio VST3 places the karaoke playback engine inside Cubase. The plugin follows the host sample clock while producing stereo MP3 audio and synchronized CDG graphics.
Lyrics on a dedicated display
The Cubase interface does not need to become the karaoke screen. KRXTOS can send CDG lyrics fullscreen to another display while Cubase remains visible on the main workstation monitor.
This is useful in vocal recording rooms, rehearsal spaces, home studios and live setups where the singer needs lyrics but the engineer still needs the DAW.
Built around music production
